Look to Bulwark Safety Systems as your source for first-class products for Industrial Light Projection Systems and Laser Line Striping from the leaders in industrial marking equipment.
LightCop is an easily installed, plug and play, industrial light projection system. Traffic control signage (such as STOP, YIELD, or NO PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC) or general warning messages (such as DANGER FORKLIFT TRAFFIC or DANGER OVERHEAD CRANE) are brightly projected on the floor from a projector mounted overhead from a horizontal I-beam, upright support, or dropdown conduit. The image is projected through a glass and metal “slide” called a GOBO, which is an acronym for “go before optic.” As the light passes through the GOBO and is focused via the lens, a traffic control sign made of light is created. This bright signage can be easily moved from one location to another, can never be damaged or destroyed, and is always visible despite minimal ambient lighting.
We offer a number of different stock GOBO images, but we can custom design any unique image or message you choose. But the image displayed is only part of the message. What sets LightCop apart from the usual painted, taped, or adhesive backed signs is the onboard, motion detecting radar. If a person or heavy equipment approaches an intersection, the traffic control signage begins a FLASHING sequence that continues until movement is no longer detected. At that point, the sign returns to the non flashing mode. Traffic directives that are painted on or taped to the floor in a busy industrial environment tend to become part of the landscape and are often ignored. A flashing message, such as STOP greatly increases compliance and reduces accidents. Designed for harsh environments, the plug and play LightCop boasts a high intensity LED light source component and a high definition ground glass lens system housed within a robust industrial casing. With an IP65 rating, the completely sealed LightCop is virtually maintenance free for up to five years or 45,000 hours. Originally intended for safe walkways throughout industrial facilities, LightCop also now offers much larger traffic control signage designed for the heavy equipment traffic lane. These five to six foot GOBO images provide messaging to forklift and other heavy equipment operators. Messaging in the traffic lane minimizes the risk of accidents and personal injury to operators and pedestrians alike, especially at dangerous blind intersections. It’s simple. It’s dependable. And above all, it’s effective.
DockRight is the first plug and play industrial laser line striping system with broad application within an Industrial environment. Simply explained, DockRight replaces traditional paint and tape for striping walkways, cordoning off dangerous or ‘off limits’ areas, creating safe zones on the ground below overhead moving cranes as well as it’s original application, defining exterior and interior trucking lanes to assist drivers in laser precision docking. When a single DockRight is mounted above the dock on the driver’s side, the DockRight laser can draw an adjustable length of line on the docking concourse to assist in precision dusk till dawn docking. Originally intended for use in northern facilities where outdoor lines are often covered with snow, ice or other obstructions, the DockRight system paints a bright Green or Red Line that can’t be covered up, torn up, or difficult to see in dimly lit environments. Simply put, DockRight creates the line of light that brings a docking truck into safe harbor. Internal docking lines are made visible during the day providing an easy to see pathway when coming in from a bright environment where a taped or painted line can be difficult to identify. When mounted overhead within a manufacturing or warehouse facility, the DockRight Laser can effectively draw lines on the floor to create pedestrian walkways or designate areas that are off limits to pedestrian or forklift traffic.
An application which is gaining in popularity is the creation of safe zones on the ground underneath a moving overhead track crane. In this instance the DockRights are mounted on the Crane Bridge and parallel the movement of the load providing a brightly moving safety barrier. DockRight carries a 3r laser classification making it ideal for industrial applications requiring a laser strong enough to be capable of striping bright lines over large distances, but safe enough that no special protective eye wear is required nor are there concerns over skin contact. When used as intended, DockRight Lasers are as safe as the laser on an optical computer mouse. Available in the standard green color, or red.
